Symbols - What does heaven look like
Hollow mountain
Everything has a cone of energy associated with it. Depending on the power of the systems it contains this cone of energy varies from very small to large or enormous. The number of functions thus determines the size of the cone. Symbolically these cones are described as mountains or hills – a mountain being anything having great power, a hill or tussock something with low functionality.
In the diagram below we see the vibrational levels and layers, the Earth layer being the physical level the other levels being spirit only. Some things being highly functional and extremely powerful are symbolically ‘mountains’ of energy, some being less powerful are simply ‘hills’ of energy.
Although each symbolic mountain or hill has physical existence, it also has spirit existence and this is where the concept of a ‘hollow’ mountain or hill is obtained from. From any one physical thing it is possible to go ‘behind’ the physical and find the spirit world. Thus for example, it should be possible to go to Saturn the physical planet and find the functions of Saturn that exist behind this physical veneer in its ‘hollow mountain’.
We should be able to also take our planet of the earth as a whole and get behind the physical globe we live on to find its functions – why it spins, why it tilts and so on. From this we derive the idea of a ‘hollow earth’ [another hollow mountain symbolically].
And so we could continue with everything, the physical moon has functions so its ‘hollow mountain’ could be explored. Even mountains themselves have functions, as a sort of aggregate, thus we can go behind physical mountains into the spirit world of functions and explore the hollow mountain of the mountain!
In spiritual experiences these hollows are often ‘seen’ as caves, thus there is a link between the symbol of the cave and the hollow mountain. In many spiritual experiences, the person enters a mound, mountain or hill and ‘meets his ancestors’ in a cave. These ‘hollow mountains’ have spawned all sorts of myths and legends and occasionally take the place symbolically of the meadows for ancestors – the homelands and happy hunting grounds. In effect, the places where spirit clans are found is a vast ‘underground’ spirit cave within the symbolic mountain of some physical object. Not a literal cave but a spiritual place.
In some myths, the higher spirits of a clan or totem group gather within the hollow mountain – so spiritually cluster there – in order to ride out incremental changes to the physical earth – destruction of the physical earth by meteorites or catastrophic ice ages and so on. Once all the physical destruction has ceased then the higher spirits are made physical again on the new earth.
It is worth noting that the spiritual experiences have also spawned a whole raft of literal interpretations, ranging from ‘Hollow Earth’ theories to ‘Concave Earth’ theories, which all show a lack of understanding of the origins of the original symbolism.
