The Mystical Life – J H M Whiteman
(March 13, 1953) During a dream, reflection on movement caused awareness of separation, and the scene changed to the countryside, rather obscurely seen. My bodily-form was rather small, as if I were perhaps 12 years old. Without being able to see anything clearly, I could feel the soft cloth of a garment touching me loosely in front, and there was a vivid and strange impression of my skin being cool between the breasts, where the garment did not touch. I then became able to see better, and noticed that there were many people around. A girl to the left, rather taller than me, smiled at me and looked down at my clothes; I felt some slight discomfort, but nothing disturbing. Looking round at the other people, I found I could see them remarkably clearly, with bright and vivid colouring in the sunlight, absolutely and objectively real living people. I noticed the children particularly, including a number of boys about my height or rather taller. I looked at their faces with great interest as they walked near hardly noticing me; most were smiling, and everyone was attractive- looking and happy.
