Background
He is not actually prophesying as the event has gone by, but it is interesting where group perception took him. There must have been a great emotional cry from that part of the world that acted as an index.
A description of the experience
The beginnings of Seership – Vincent Turvey
My "Spirit" Visitants are those who come to me during various hours of the day or night. Sometimes they will come "at dead o' night" and wake me up; at other times they will come when I am alone in the tent in my garden, or in my drawing-room, or, what is still more obliging of them, they will "look in while passing," when I have earthly visitors with me, who can bear witness that I described the Visitant to them, before I went to the hall. I may say that all my Visitants have been recognized, a fact which makes them very real to me, …..
On October 6, 1909, Mr. Blake called on me, and whilst we were talking I "saw" an Eastern "spirit" with a great knife sticking in his breast. I said to Mr. Blake that, although I could not say for certain, I "felt" that it was the Pretender to the throne of Morocco, and that we should read about it in a day or two.
Three days later we read that the Pretender had been thrown to the lions by the Sultan, and that two soldiers had stabbed him in the breast October 1, but the news was delayed until the 9th (Daily Mail). Here the reader will see two things.
First, a "Spirit" Visitant that could not possibly be telepathed by Mr. Blake; second, a prophecy fulfilled within three days. Why, I ask, should the Pretender "telepath" to an obscure Englishman of whom he never heard?.
