At the Hour of death – Dr Karlis Osis and Dr Erlendur Haraldsson
When I walked into the room she was carrying on a very vivid conversation with her husband. I looked at her son, who was sitting by her bedside and he said to me
‘She thinks she’s conversing with my father who has been dead for 17 years’.
The patient’s eyes were open but she seemed to be in a trance. She spoke in a monotone
‘The children are fine – we have grandchildren’
It seemed as though she was bringing him up-to-date on the family events that he had missed since his death. She also answered several questions which her husband asked her
