A description of the experience
Release in Death
Hands clutch to draw us back into the mean walls
Of dusty ivy and the blown leaf without name.
But we will walk with our heels from the ground,
Unlingering and ingrateful for the smutty shadows
That give themselves the title of shelter.
We shall walk with startled eyelids into the garden.
In the warm grass shall we take off our boots;
In the brightness and the safeness of sure openness,
From the cooped idiocy of life;
How good to feel birds on the forehead
Instead of cobwebs on the arms!
