A description of the experience
Adam Shereston - Alignment
On and on went the chatter in my mind. It was like I had a crowd of people in there, each trying to raise their voice just enough to talk above the others. Facinating as it was, I knew that not only was the experience beginning to test my sanity, but I had a rotten headache.
I decided to get up, thinking that if I had something else to concentrate on, the noise might subside a little. But just as I went to swing my legs over the edge of the bed, a stream of voices started to reel out
'you can't escape what's going on in your head. Any troubles in your life will stay with you until you work them out internally'
Thwarted, I dropped back onto my bed........
Over the coming weeks and months, the voices did not cease, nor did it seem there was anything I could do to temper them. Try as I might, I clearly couldn't escape them, so left with very few options and admittedly more than a little intrigued, I began to ask more questions of them. In doing this, I discovered that if I wanted to rertieve discernible information, I needed to focus on and converse with one individual voice at a time. Easier said than done with the general jabber of other spirit voices in the background, but I gave it my best shot...
I was definitely aware of a new feeling inside; it was a very deep sense of stillness. But the voices were obscuring it. So this was my new challenge, it seemed....
