46. Lights during Sickness
Once I was sick, troubled by fever in the night. I awakened after half the night, and was lying down, as is customary with the sick, with my family.
And I saw myself in one of the rooms of the angelic world.
Lights were unveiled to me, and the Truth (who is transcendent) appeared to me, and my soul and form were nearly overthrown. God most high made his peace descend upon me, but the ecstatic dawns and sweet secrets did not cease.
No one of my family nor anyone around me knew of that state.
