The Jacques Romano Story – Dr Berthold Eric Schwartz
In 1910 I was in Cuba and attended a special dinner. Mrs. Richard Harding Davis, the 'Yama Yama' girl, was there. Among the other six guests I became acquainted with was a man who was an executive for a big copra company in New York. I did not see him again until 1920, during Prohibition, when I noticed him at a party. In his conversation, he told me how they extract lanolin from wool in Australia. Then, one day many years later, I wondered what had happened to him, because I recalled how this man knew the technique of extracting lanolin from sheep's wool; and at that moment I needed this knowledge for a product I was making. Three days later a tramp came to see me and ask my help. Formerly a respectable citizen, the tramp had become interested in psychic work, taken to drinking, and then his mind went all to pieces. That tramp was the copra executive of long ago, who had crossed my path and thoughts twice previously in my life.
