David Scott Rogo - Leaving the Body: A Complete Guide to Astral Projection
Again I returned from school, went to my room, and lay down on my back to take a nap. I felt the same weird falling sensations that had heralded my first OBE, but this time they were accompanied by pulsations as though my whole body were being charged with electricity. As I had done previously, I began to concentrate on intensifying the sensations.
Once again I experienced a momentary blackout and found myself out-of-body, this time crouching next to the bed toward some cabinets. My vision was a bit blurred and something seemed to be obstructing my left eye. I stood up and looked at my body in hopes of seeing the famous "silver cord" I had read so much about. I did not see it, but did note that my (physical) head had fallen to the side and onto my left shoulder. My arm was pushing up against my left eye. That, I surmised, was why my vision in the apparitional body was likewise obstructed.
More than anything else, I wanted to get out of the bedroom. So I moved toward my bedroom door and tried to pass right through it. It worked. One moment I was in my room, approaching the door; the next thing I knew I was emerging from the door on the other side. I travelled around the corner of the hallway and into the living room where I saw my mother on the couch reading. At that moment my two dogs began barking and I blacked out. An instant later, l "awoke" back in the body.
