Background
A description of the experience
This dream was truly exhausting. I woke sweating and shaking. I had to get to this place - name forgotten, annoying because I bet the name would give me a clue what the dream meant - and I thought I knew the right train to catch.
It was a small suburban old fashioned train that seemed to stop at station after station after station none of which had signs you could see and there were no announcements.
I seemed to be fairly complacent about this silly journey because I was looking out the window, we seemed to be on a stream bed with the rails raised over it or maybe it was a canal, either way we seemed to be travelling over water on the train on brick rails. Occasionally the canal we were on would pass over larger canals and rivers – there was a lot of water in this dream. It was daylight.
I think I just assumed the train would stop at where I needed to go, but the next thing I knew someone said the place I needed was several stops back, I had gone too far. I rushed out of the train and ran over a bridge to the other side in the hope of heading back, but I forgot my bag and my money, I was in dire straits. Panic ensued. I wandered out into the town by the station where there was a fair, but it was too much I think and I woke up…………
