Background
Wikipedia "The Muria are an adivasi (scheduled tribe) of the Bastar district of Chhattisgarh, India. They are part of the Gondi people. Traditionally they are economically homogenous and strive to work as a collective. They have mixed-sex dormitories where adolescents are sent to practice premarital sex, sometimes with a single partner and sometimes serially. They have an omnivorous diet, with liquor playing a key role in their society."
Remarkably like Pudsey.
A description of the experience
Mircea Eliade – Shamanism Archaic techniques of ecstasy
Among the Muria, a funeral is accompanied by ritual songs announcing the deceased’s arrival in the other world on horseback. The description includes a palace in which are a golden swing and a diamond throne. The deceased is brought there by an eight legged horse………
Eight legged or headless horses are documented in the rite and myths of both Germanic and Japanese ‘men’s societies’. In all these cultural complexes many legged horses or phantom horses have a function that is at once funerary and ecstatic.
