Lithophone Near Humbi at Karnadaka state in India
Jerome Calyster (myself) and Sanj Hall, went to Karnata at south-India, to explore those precious stones/rocks. such rocks are very rare.. destinations are limited globally, luckily India has got one near Humbi at Karnadaka state in India. it was a remarkable experience to explore those Lithophones (Other wise called Gong rocks) in the remote villages almost 60 Km away from Humbi. It was believed that Gongs are evolved by taking inspiration from this natural rocks. Once we identified it, perhaps it was not known to public the value and preciousness of these rocks. it's sad to observe that most of them destroyed. once we are at, we intensely throbbed to play music, "Its a concert with nature". the travelling Gong Acharya Sanji Hall started playing on rock and i expressed my music with flute. it was a movement close to the existence, ....divine...spiritual.... and healing. All we enjoyed the positive energy of the Nature and surrendered.
