Jesus isn't Jesus

Type of Spiritual Experience
Background
For many years a figure appeared to the Boy that because of his upbringing he called Jesus. In this observation we find that jesus was not jesus at all but a spirit helper, living, and of eastern origin – though clearly speaking english as well, who is his spirit helper.
Remember that The Brotherhood is the sum total of all mystics and mystic groups that are genuine. They don’t meet physically.
A description of the experience
The Boy who saw True - Nov 25th
Wonders never cease! Fancy I’ve been wrong about Jesus all this time, and I found it out yesterday. But I don’t care. Whoever he is I love him just as much, and if he asked me to crawl on my hands and knees to London town, I'd try and do it to please him, though I know he’ll never ask me to do anything so silly.
Anyhow this is what I heard him say yesterday, and I repeated to Mr. Patmore, who wrote it down in his short hand and gave it me for dictation lesson to-day.
" My son, it is expedient now that you should be apprised of several things it was neither possible nor wise for you to know before. And first, be not sad if I tell you that I am not Jesus, but another one whose name is of no consequence, but who has been your teacher through many lives. Although you are a mature soul, remember you have still a young body and a young brain, and to have told you before that I am other than you imagined would have served no purpose and merely involved explanations which would have been more confusing than enlightening to your youthful mind. Therefore let it suffice if I say that we who seek to help and instruct those who possess the necessary qualifications, are satisfied to call ourselves the Elder Brothers. Think of me as one of these my son, or if you so desire you may call me E.B. for short. But judge me by my words and not by what you imagine me to be, for how shall I prove my identity to you who know me not in the flesh?
Let it be enough for you to take on faith that I inhabit an Eastern body which I have the power to leave at will and appear in spirit to those who have the capacity to see. That capacity, my son, you acquired in former lives, one of which, an Indian one, you recalled the other day in your vision. For know that the endeavours of one life reappear as powers or talents in a subsequent one. Aye, verily no effort is lost, and man becoming what he has previously made of himself either for good or ill. Think not as the ignorant do, that man can attain perfection in three score years and ten; in the universe all is a process of becoming; and as with Nature so with man.
