The Jacques Romano Story – Dr Berthold Eric Schwartz
I met Coue and Gurdjieff at Fontainebleau. Coue was originally a druggist, who later gained great fame as a healer. Whereas Coue became so involved in his work and the associated fanfare that he succumbed to it, Gurdjieff was a healthy man and a great teacher who could hypnotise many people at once. In his work he used hypnotic suggestion to perfect extraordinary dancing techniques of split second timing. Gurdjieff got much more enjoyment out of his work and thrived in a state of superb health.
