Incas - Macchu Picchu - Temple of the Sun

Background
The Temple of the Sun is in the main site of Macchu Piccu. It has beautiful stonework and its centrepiece is a great rock which is part of the actual outcrop on which the temple is built. It can be clearly seen through the windows. I suspect it was a one time painted - probably gold.
The rock has a straight edge cut into it which is aligned through the window to the rising point of the sun on the June solstice.
