Background
I think it is pushing it a bit to say this is prophecy, although there is a predictive element about it.
A description of the experience
Rosalind Heywood – The Infinite Hive
I met a brisk young British Officer, whom I had run into three or four times in Macedonia and who had been very kind to me. Dysentry and malaria had hit him hard, and on our way home from dinner, the friend with whom I was staying remarked casually ‘Well he looked a pretty scarecrow didn’t he?’
I stared at her in astonishment. 'You wouldn't talk like that if you knew I was going to marry him,' I thought.
As so often happens with ESP-type experiences, this flash of knowledge was not at all startling. On the contrary it seemed as normal and inevitable as the fact that on the morrow the sun would rise. But next morning it had submerged again; and I did not remember it until, to my extreme surprise, three months later we were engaged. To my equal surprise and immense delight, I found that although one facet of my prospective husband was a competent young soldier who had been nominated to the Staff College for good work during the war, another facet indulged, as I did, in flashes of apparent ESP.
And, marvel of marvels, he did not think them odd. He told me that he had had such a flash about me even before he knew I existed, and that when we met in Macedonia, and l had, it appeared been argumentative, he had thought with amusement, 'Little do you know, my girl, that you are going to marry me.'
But he, too, had temporarily forgotten these flashes, and, again like me, had had a romance elsewhere.
