Healing by AVOIDING the opioid analgesics

Type of Spiritual Experience

Background

Opioids have a tendency to cause constipation.  Crohn's disease causes diarhoea, as such if one is prescribing based on symptoms alone any opioid analgesic would seem ideal, as the diarrhoea is stemmed and the pain is tackled.

But the diarrhoea is a symptom not a cause and if the cause is dysbiosis and the body is not allowed to flush the pathogens away, the pathogens will simply proliferate and do even more damage.  Furthermore, opioids are addictive, adding to one's woes.

The following figures from eHealthme show that opioids are also implicated in causing Crohn's disease
