Grof, Dr Stanislav - Exploring common consciousness

Type of Spiritual Experience
Background
Dr Grof experiemented on both himself and a number of volunteers to try to unearth lost and buried Perceptions.
The only problem with his research was that he assumed that the perceptions were those of the person and in some cases it appears that people went off in all directions traversing the loom in a mad frenzy of recall of all sorts of information.
In some cases they assume it is some past life, but although this is an option, it is not the only option
A description of the experience
LSD Doorway to the Numinous – Professor Stanislav Grof
Subjects tuned in to these realms of the unconscious can go through brief episodes or long, elaborate sequences that take place in different countries and or different centuries and depict various historical or contemporary cultures. These scenes can be experienced in the role of observer, but more frequently, the subject identifies with one representative of the culture involved or with a greater number of them. This is typically associated with global as well as detailed insights concerning social structure, religious cosmology, forms of worship, moral code, specific characteristics of art, technological development and many other aspects of these cultures.
