Dicyclomine - Dicyclomine, also known as dicycloverine, is an anticholinergic that blocks muscarinic receptors, first synthesized in the United States in 1947. It is principally used to treat the symptoms of Irritable Bowel syndrome (IBS), - muscle spasms and cramping in the gastrointestinal tract. But it is a general smooth muscle relaxant. It is sold under the trade names: Byclomine, Bentyl , Dibent, Di-Spaz, Dilomine, Bentylol, Formulex, and Lomine . Dicyclomine causes the normal anticholinergic side effects such as dry mouth, etc “Recreational use of this drug has been reported in Brazil, as well as in Egypt, Iran, Russia, Ukraine and India”
