The centre of Amsterdam is built on the symbolism of the levels and layers.  In the centre is the ‘palace of the king and queen’, then in successively expanding  rings one goes outward through the levels and layers – principally however the planets as opposed to the lower levels. [See the map of the egg].

The city is Egg shaped apart from the obvious need to cut a small portion off the top of the egg in order to obtain water to provide the rings.

The streets are named around the feudal hierarchy.

It also has a number of towers, and many are of five levels making them more like pyramids than towers.

There are numerous bridges, which of course are needed practically, but many clearly were placed very strategically from the point of view of sacred geography

Although possibly only a minor centre of ley line and telluric currents now, particularly given the engineering work undertaken to protect the land from flooding, indications are that it might have been a most important centre when the land was drained to create the sacred centre
