Kabbalah symbols
Kabbalah (Hebrew: קַבָּלָה,, lit. "receiving") is a discipline and school of thought concerned with the mystical aspect of Judaism. See Judaism and Kabbalah.
It includes the sephirot, which is a spiritual path, and incorporates a number of methods aimed at spiritual experience. We know from the Bible that many early Jewish prophets and leaders were able to perform what are essentially shamanic acts – influence the environment, heal, prophecy, go out of body and so on. There is little difference between this mystic system and all the other mystic systems in this respect.
This means that there must have been spells and songlines.
Old Hebrew looks much like runes, cuneiform, and Ogham for example, leading one to suspect that it had common roots as a spell language.
